Speaker Johnson is asking House Republicans to endorse Chairman Comer's nearly yearlong investigation of President Joe Biden and his family, which has been fueled by distorted and cherry-picked facts and long debunked conspiracy theories.
To make sure Republican Members are fully informed of the facts as they consider whether to vote to make this investigation the centerpiece of Republicans' agenda for 2024, Oversight Democrats released a series of fact sheets that undercut Republicans' core allegations in this inquiry.
After nearly a year of investigating President Joe Biden and his family, Republicans have substantial evidence from agencies across the Administration, including the White House, DOJ, FBI, and IRS; banks; and private citizens, all of which shows no wrongdoing by President Biden, let alone any impeachable offense. Rather than recognize these facts, House Republicans have repeatedly misrepresented witness testimony, mischaracterized records, and lied about the evidence and have been repeatedly fact-checked and discredited by news organizations across the political spectrum.
