Lynch, Acting Ranking Member of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, led Committee Democrats in condemning the Trump Administration’s extreme mass deportation operations and recent moves to unleash the U.S. military on American cities.  Not only are these efforts cruel, illegal, and a threat to children and families everywhere, but they are also the steppingstone for Trump’s radical attempts to seize absolute power and push America toward authoritarianism, as evidenced by his deployment of active-duty troops into American communities and the assault of U.S. Senator Alex Padilla.
