Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Robert Garcia, Ranking Member of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, released the following statement after it was exposed that Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice have been spying on the search history of Members of Congress who go through the “unredacted” versions of the Epstein files.
“We already knew this Department of Justice was incredibly corrupt, but now Pam Bondi has taken it even further by spying on Members of Congress as they go through the Epstein files. It’s clear we can’t trust anything the DOJ is doing, including their redactions and the withholding of millions of documents. Why are they spying on Members of Congress? Pam Bondi is a disgrace, and Oversight Democrats will conduct a full investigation. She needs to resign immediately,” said Ranking Member Robert Garcia.
