At today's Oversight Committee hearing on Operation Fast and Furious, Chairman Darrell Issa called for Andrew Traver's confirmation as the Director of the ATF.
In an exchange with Congresswoman Maloney, Chairman Issa noted that "no one was put up for the first two years of the Obama Administration, and that's sad that they didn't have somebody in the queue earlier."
Chairman Issa then said that Andrew Traver "should in fact be given an opportunity to be confirmed."
