Washington, DC—Today, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, issued the following statement in response to the Supreme Court's ruling in Shelby County v. Holder that Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 is unconstitutional:
Washington, DC—Today, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, released to Members of Congress and the American public the full transcript of an interview with an IRS Screening Group Manager in Cincinnati who provided a detailed account of how Tea Party groups applying for tax-exempt status were first identified by the IRS.

Cummings, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, issued the following statement in response to a letter from Committee Chairman Darrell Issa reversing his position on releasing the full transcripts of IRS employees who informed the Committee that the White House was not involved in any way with targeting Tea Party applicants:
