Washington, D.C. —Today, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, sent a letter requesting that Committee Chairman Darrell Issa recall J. Russell George, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, to answer questions before Committee Members at next Thursday's hearing on the IRS's review of applications for tax-exempt status.
