Today's factsheet comes as the House is set to consider the Default on America Act, which would enact a reckless 22 percent cut to all non-defense discretionary spending, including critical education, childcare, mental health, and nutrition programs.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Ranking Member Rep. National Guard, in the fiscal year 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The D.C. National Guard Home Rule Act passed the House as part of the fiscal year 2023 NDAA, but Republicans blocked it in the Senate.
