(March 24, 2025)— Tomorrow, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform will markup two Resolutions of Inquiry from Oversight Democrats as well as a bill introduced by Republican Chairman James Comer, H.R. 1295, the “Dismantling Government Act,” which would use the shell of a long-dormant statute as a Trojan Horse to give President Trump and Elon Musk the unprecedented, filibuster-proof authority they crave.
