Ranking Member Robert Garcia Demands Answers from Kimberly Guilfoyle’s Staffer in Pay-to-Play Scheme

Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Robert Garcia, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, demanded answers from Drew Lynch, Executive Producer of the Kimberly Guilfoyle Show, after documents shared with Oversight Democrats revealed Lynch may have participated in the alleged pay-to-play arrangement between Kimberly Guilfoyle and Republican donor Eric Deters. This letter follows reports that Guilfoyle demanded $100,000 from Deters in exchange for access to senior Trump Administration officials.

“Kimberly Guilfoyle can’t escape accountability just because she resigned. Documents shared with Oversight Democrats regarding her producer’s role only deepen concerns about an alleged scheme to sell access to senior Trump Administration officials. Our investigation is just getting started, and we will follow the money,” said Ranking Member Robert Garcia.

In the letter to Executive Producer Drew Lynch, Ranking Member Garcia wrote, “According to communications reviewed by Committee Democratic staff, you appear to have communicated extensively with Mr. Deters, often on behalf of Ms. Guilfoyle or in furtherance of connecting Mr. Deters with senior Trump Administration officials such as FBI General Counsel Sam Ramer and FBI Director Kash Patel. Additionally, in June 2025, Mr. Deters reminded you about what former Ambassador Guilfoyle described as her and Mr. Deters’s ‘arrangement’ and conveyed to you that Ms. Guilfoyle said you ‘may do some rewarding to some of it.’ Ms. Guilfoyle had also stated, ‘[Drew Lynch] works for me.’”

In October 2026, Ranking Member Garcia demanded answers from Kimberly Guilfoyle following reports of alarming allegations that Guilfoyle engaged in a pay-to-play scheme with a Republican donor, demanding $100,000 in exchange for access to senior Trump Administration officials. Ranking Member Garcia then reiterated in a second letter that he will continue his investigation into Kimberly Guilfoyle after she has left office.
