Oversight Democrats’ Statement on Protecting Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s Abuse

Washington, D.C. — Today, a spokesperson for Oversight Democrats released the following statement on the ongoing efforts to protect the privacy of, and ensure accountability and justice for, the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes and their families:

“The official stance of Oversight Democrats is that we don’t confirm or deny the names of victims. Oversight Democrats have promised all survivors and their families that we will keep their identities private out of respect for them, and our commitment is that we redact all of their names from these documents,” said Sara Guerrero, spokesperson for Oversight Democrats.
