Oversight Committee to Mark Up Build Back Better Act

Washington, D.C. (September 1, 2021)—On Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. ET, Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney, the Chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, will hold a remote business meeting to consider the Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for Fiscal Year 2022. The Committee Print contains:

• Critical funding to electrify the General Services Administration (GSA) and United States Postal Service vehicle fleets;

• Funding for the National Archives to speed the processing of veterans' record requests;

• Funding to implement President Biden's Justice40 Initiative to ensure that at least 40% of the benefits of climate and infrastructure investments go to overburdened and underserved communities; and

• Oversight and accountability provisions, including funding for the Government Accountability Office and inspectors general.
