Oversight Committee to Consider Bills to Mitigate Climate Change, Improve Federal Government Operations

Washington, D.C. (November 30, 2021)—On Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. ET, Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney, the Chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, will hold a business meeting to consider bills that will ensure federal agencies have a comprehensive plan to tackle climate change, improve federal government operations, and reduce the number of vacancies in the D.C. courts.

The Committee will consider the following legislation:

  • H.R. 5477, the Federal Agency Climate Planning, Resilience, and Enhanced Preparedness (PREP) Act;
  • H.R. 4688, the Federal Agency Customer Experience (FACE) Act;
  • H.R. 5792, the State and Local Digital Services Act;

  • H.R. 4778, the District of Columbia Courts Vacancy Reduction Act; and

  • H.R. 6066, the Strengthening the Office of Personnel Management Act.

The Committee will also consider several postal naming measures.
