Bicameral, Bipartisan Committee Leaders to Hold Press Call on GAO’s 2021 High-Risk Report

Washington D.C. (Feb. 25, 2021)—On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 9:45 a.m., Reps. Carolyn B. Maloney and James Comer, the Chair and Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform; Senators Gary Peters and Rob Portman, the Chair and Ranking Member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee; and U.S. Comptroller General Gene Dodaro, head of the Government Accountability Office (GAO), will hold a press call to release the 2021 High-Risk Report.

The High-Risk Report is released every two years at the beginning of each new Congress to focus on government operations vulnerable to fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement, or in need of transformation to meet the nation's biggest challenges.

Following the press conference, the Committee on Oversight and Reform will hold a full committee hearing about the report at 10:30 a.m. EST. The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee's hearing will follow beginning at 2:30 p.m. EST.
