Washington, D.C. (April 1, 2022)—On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. ET, Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney, the Chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, will hold a business meeting to consider legislation to prohibit the U.S. government from contracting with companies operating in Russia, legislation to provide additional resources to address the veterans’ records backlog, and other good government bills.

 

The Committee will consider the following legislation:

 

  • H.R. 1756, Measuring Real Income Growth Act;

 

  • H.R. 6531, Targeting Resources to Communities in Need Act of 2022;

 

  • H.R. 6967, Chance to Compete Act;

 

  • H.R. ____, Honoring Civil Servants Killed in the Line of Duty Act;  

 

  • H.R. 5815, Honest Census Communications Act;         

 

  • H.R. 7185, Federal Contracting for Peace and Security Act;

 

  • H.R. 3544, Computers for Veterans and Students (COVS) Act; and

 

  • H.R. 7337, Access for Veterans to Records Act.

 
The Committee will also consider several postal naming measures.
