On Thursday, July 14, 2022,at 10 a.m. ET, Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney, Chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, will hold a business meeting to consider legislation to ensure the independence and integrity of the U.S. Census Bureau and advance an equitable transition to a clean energy economy.  The Committee will also consider other good government reforms, including bills to strengthen federal acquisition law and reduce fraud in federal payments.

The Committee will consider the following legislation:

 

  1. H.R. 4258, the Improving Digital Identity Act;

 

  1. H.R. 8322, the Strengthening Tools to Obstruct and Prevent Fraud Act of 2022;

 

  1. H.R. 7602, the Preventing Organizational Conflicts of Interest in Federal Acquisition Act;

 

  1. H.R. 8326, the Ensuring a Fair and Accurate Census Act;

 

  1. H.R. 8325, the Preventing Personal Conflicts of Interest in Federal Acquisition Act; and

 

  1. H.R. 6548, the Justice in Power Plant Permitting Act.
