Washington, D.C. (June 12, 2022)—Today, Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney, Chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, released the following statement after a bipartisan group of Senators announced an agreement on reforms to address gun violence:

Washington, D.C. (June 8, 2022)—Today, Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney, Chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, held a hearing on the urgent need to address the gun violence epidemic.

This morning, the Oversight Committee heard testimony from Roy Guerrero, M.D., the sole pediatrician in Uvalde, Texas, during a hearing on the urgent need to address the gun violence epidemic.

This morning, the Oversight Committee heard testimony from Felix Rubio and Kimberly Mata-Rubio, parents of Lexi Rubio, a victim of the Uvalde, Texas shooting, during a hearing on the urgent need to address the gun violence epidemic.

This morning, the Oversight Committee heard testimony from Zeneta Everhart, mother of Zaire Goodman, a survivor of the Tops Grocery Store mass shooting in Buffalo, New York, during a hearing on the urgent need to address the gun violence epidemic.
